The scholarship is offered by the National Hispanic Medical Association at New York University and amounts to $2,000 to $5,000. The award is given every year and goes to the nursing student who demonstrates leaderships skills, a consistent academic track record, and has maintained a successful academic career.

2 – National Association of Hispanic Nurses Scholarship

Students who are enrolled in a nursing degree program at the diploma, practical/vocational, associate’s, baccalaureate, or graduate degree level. This scholarship is the perfect supplemental financing for nursing school and is offered by the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. The award is $1,000.

3 – Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association Career Mobility Scholarship

Both current nurses and nursing students are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This nursing scholarship offered by the National Student Nurses’ Association is between $1,000 and $2,500.

4 – StraightForward Media Nursing School Scholarship

5 – Access to Better Learning and Education Grant Program (ABLE)

The Pell Grant is not a traditional scholarship like the five examples above, but it is a federal award of financial aide that is awarded to students who have not earned a bachelor’s degree. The Pell Grant is a $6,095 award that is given to many students all over the United States. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student seeking 12 credit hours per semester.
